Young people must have the opportunity to lead changes within their own communities. They have to understand and defend their rights and take lead roles in a community life that will allow them and us to shape our environment according to our needs and imagination. YOUTH ACTIVISM is the main concept for advocating for the change we want to see. It is very important that young creativity, inspiration and active participation in all aspects of life tailor community and the world according to desired standards and needs.

On April 13, 2018, a preparatory meeting was held in Sarajevo on the occasion of the official launch of a joint project “Active Youth – Step Ahead to Joint Changes”, supported by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.

The project “Active Youth-Step Towards Joint Changes” officially started with the implementation on April 1, 2018, and it will be implemented by Development Center for Youth in cooperation with the following partners: associations YouthWatch from Slovakia, Intermedia from Serbia, COSMO from Montenegro and Institute for Youth Development KULT from Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.

Dear colleagues and friends, we are entering the new year with excellent news!

With great joy and excitement, we are informing you that the New Year has brought us a new approved project. Namely, the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe supported the project “Active Youth – Step Towards Joint Changes”, which will be implemented from April 1, 2018 in partnership with associations from Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

On July 5, 2017 in the municipality of Raska, the official presentation of the brochure containing conclusions and recommendations from the project “Instrument of Citizens’ Question – Your Right to Know” was held. Project was realized in the period of March-June 2017 by Development Center for Youth, with the support of the  European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.

The seven-member delegation consisting of the participants of the project “Instrument of Citizens Questions – Your right to know” and the expert team of Development Center for Youth visited on June 15-17 Sarajevo and got familiarialized with the work of different institutions and organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Participants of the project “Instrument of Citizens Question-Your Right to Know”, during their visit to Novi Sad conducted on June 2, visited the city and provincial assemblies, and then the Ecologic Center Radulovački in Sremski Karlovci.

Development Center for Youth started with the preparation for the training within the project “Instrument of Citizens’ Question – Your Right to Know”, which will be held in the period from  April 27 to 31 at the mountain Zlatar.
