Representatives of Development Center for Youth, Aleksandra Knežević and the football camp DEKI5 signed on February 9 the Agreement on continuation of cooperation on the project “Life Champions 2.0: We are all champions”, re-confirming that they share values and principles of children’s and youth guidance and education in and through sports.

This year, special focus will be put on the inclusion of girls, the integration of gender equality in the educational part of the summer camps’ program, and promoting women’s sports and improvement of girls’ position in sports in general.

“Another dynamic year is in front of us, to be open by the training for coaches; in continuation including info days for representatives of sports structures that will delegate their women’s sections for activities to follow, as well as a series of summer educational-sports mixed camps. We expect to conclude the year with the information that through our activities more than 60 coaches and 1,500 boys and girls have taken part in the concept, this time making the family of life champions richer for female life champions, too”, stated representatives of the partnership at the end of the meeting.

Project “Life Champions 2.0: We are all champions” in 2024 will continue with the support from UEFA Foundation for Children, at the same time receiving support from the Erasmus+ program in the field of sports for further development of this innovative educational concept in sports.
