Children, parents and coaches of HNK Gorica had the opportunity to hear, first of all, what the calendar of activities for 2024 would look like, and afterwards in which ways it would be worked on more intense involvement of girls in project activities in the upcoming period. This topic attracted special attention to those present, bearing in mind that HNK Gorica has been developing its women’s section within the club already for some time.

During the meeting, the attendees had been introduced to video material from previous joint activities, followed by the opening speech from the member of the consortium from Velika Gorica – Marko Radanić, the sports coordinator of the project for Croatia, who thanked the attendees as well as the representatives of the consortium, and announced that HNK Gorica would be part of this year’s activities too, which after the info days would continue with the training for coaches of younger categories in Thessaloniki from April 18 to 21.

“During the release of video material from previous activities, a special focus was on the camps for girls and boys. The attention of the present ones has been attracted by the idea of inclusion of girls and development of female life champions, which is also one of the central topics of the project “Life Champions 2.0: we are all champions” – said Vladimir Romčević during the meeting in Velika Gorica.

Project “Life Champions 2.0: we are all champions” in 2024 is supported by the UEFA Foundation for Children, along with the support provided through the ERASMUS+ program in the field of sports for development of this innovative educational concept in sports.
