New Erasmus+ project of Development Center for Youth
Development Center for Youth from Belgrade will participate for the second year in a row in the project from the Erasmus + program of the European Union, this time as a partner of the organization from Greece, United Societies of Balkans. “EU-wide Network” project brings together 34 European civil society organizations that will strengthen their own capacities in the upcoming year, but also promote youth goals, as well as the goals of the EU strategy for youth in the countries they come from.
– Goals of this project completely coincide with the goals of our organization, so when our colleagues from Greece invited us to cooperate, besides that we understood it as a recognition for our work, we did not hesitate at any time to enter into a partnership. We already have a successful Erasmus+ project behind us in the role of coordinator, and now we have the opportunity to participate in a new action within the program: KA3 – Support for policy reform, civil society cooperation in the field of youth – explains DC Youth program director Aleksandra Knežević.
Through the “EU-wide network”, organizations and young people across Europe, even in Serbia, will be informed about the changes within the Erasmus+ program and the European Solidarity Corps in the period 2021-2027, as well as on the topics of engaging, connecting and empowering of young people across Europe. At the same time, Development Center for Youth continues with projects for young people, so this organization announces an exciting summer with many useful activities and tools intended for this target group, all for the sake of their equal inclusion in the society.
