We proudly present the tutorial “Extraordinary work in extraordinary situation”
Specific situation in which we have found ourselves posed number of questions, dilemmas and doubts to all of us – how to protect ourselves and the health of people around us, how to behave in any of the situations, whether and how to continue working safely. All these issues affected the civil sector as well, and initially resulted in passivity and/or limited activity of citizens’ associations, which automatically reflected on their target groups.
In order to exchange experiences with colleagues from various associations throughout Serbia and share the knowledge we gained on the issue of safe and efficient work in specific situations, with the support of the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe, we launched the project “Extraordinary work in extraordinary situation”, providing support to young activists to remain active despite all challenges they are currently facing with.
After the initial training followed by online sessions in local communities, young participants discussed the questions they encountered most often, jointly preparing the answers to them.
This is how the video tutorial “Extraordinary work in extraordinary situation” was created, consisting of 12 questions and answers. Today, we are proud to present it to you, hoping that it will make it easier for you to cope with the specific situation in which we find ourselves.
“Young people need us and it is our obligation, by adapting the forms of communication and methods of work, to continue to provide content that is important to them! Therefore, some of the videos also contain very specific information on how to transfer activities to online environment, which tools and platforms to use, etc.” said Aleksandra Knežević, program director of Development Center for Youth, presenting this bilingual video tutorial.
