Representatives of Development Center for Youth at the Evaluation Seminar in Strasbourg
Evaluation seminar for the national training courses in the field of human rights education (NTC HRE) implemented in 2017-2019, was held in Strasbourg in mid-December 2019. The seminar was organized by the Council of Europe’s Youth Department, bringing together the organizers of national and regional training courses from above mentioned period.
Aleksandra Knežević and Dragana Radošević also participated at the seminar, as the most responsible for quality realization of the regional training course “Your rights matter – learn, share, exercise” held in April 2019 in Serbia. Focus of the course was on improving the knowledge and skills of young trade unions activists from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Montenegro for further acting on improvement of the rights of young people in work environment.
Representatives of Development Center for Youth actively participated in exchange of experiences from the field, as well as in creation of recommendations for further improvement of the concept of national and regional training courses in the field of human rights education. They especially pointed out the importance of establishing quality cooperation with the Council of Europe field office in all those countries that have them.
The evaluation seminar was held just before announcement of the list of organizations that would implement their training courses in 2020, in order to contribute to improvement of coordination and communication with future organizers of these significant educational activities for young people.
