Katarina Eger is born on January 3, 2004 in Belgrade.

She graduated from a bilingual high school and is currently studying at the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade.

She has shown the greatest interests in the field of biology, biochemistry and genetics, and can be proud of many awards from the same fields. She was an active member of the Regional Center for Talents, with which she won the third place at the national electrochemistry competition. Katarina is a collaborator on the scientific work “Construction of the calibration curve of chemical compounds using UV-VIS spectrophotometry”, conducted at the Institute of Nuclear Sciences “Vinča” in 2019.

Throughout her schooling, she dealt with the topics of ecology and environmental protection. For a period of 4 years, she participated in the “Environmental Awareness” project, which included a large number of high schools in cooperation with the Museum of Science and Technology in Belgrade. After completing the project, she participated in a series of lectures on the topic of nature pollution and the usage of renewable energy sources.

She has been involved in music since she was a little, which is also her great passion. She graduated from two music schools and plays two instruments. She was a participant, and soon after, a part of the jury at the city competition of solo singers “Golden Mermaid” as part of the Children’s Music Festival cycle – DEMUS.

In addition to science and music, Katarina is fond of sports, which she has been actively practicing for over 10 years. She found herself mostly in the field of athletics, where she won the third place at the Belgrade level in the high jump discipline 4 years ago. Since 2020, she has been actively participating as a volunteer in sports competitions. She has experience from major world and European competitions in basketball, athletics, boxing, water polo, and many other sports, held in Serbia.

From the very beginning, interested in the topics of informal education, extracurricular activities, mental health and support for young people, she became an active member of the Association Development Center for Youth, with which she participates in all current projects.

Katarina speaks French and English fluently.
