The Development Center for Youth is pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with the Greek organization United Societies of the Balkans (USB) on the TUNE – Transnational United Network of Europe project. This year marks the third consecutive year of successful collaboration, which will further expand and strengthen in 2025. Four new organizations have joined the project, bringing the network to a total of 21 partners from across Europe.

The project aims to empower young people and actively involve them in decision-making processes at the European level. Over the next 12 months, a variety of youth-centered activities will be implemented, with a particular focus on participation, e-democracy, and the development of youth policies.

“This project is a contribution to supporting young people in gaining the information and skills they need to actively participate in social processes. The continuation of this partnership and the planned set of activities for 2025 promises further development and improvement of youth engagement in the region and across Europe,” said Veljko Avramović, representative of the Development Center for Youth, following the initial meeting held for this year.

During the course of the project, a capacity building activity for youth workers and organizations will take place in a European city, focusing on strengthening skills, exchanging best practices, and enhancing the impact of youth participation efforts. At the end of the year, the project will conclude with networking events in Thessaloniki, providing space for connection, collaboration, and the continued building of European solidarity among project partners and young participants.

The project is implemented under the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, with participants from Serbia, Greece, France, Italy, Poland, Ireland, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain, Cyprus, Portugal, Turkey, Romania, and Albania, along with the newly joined partner countries.
