FemPolitic – A New Political School for Women

We are pleased to announce the launch of the FemPolitic – Political School for Women project, which aims to empower young women with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary for active participation in political life. The project is implemented by the Fund for Progressive Politics from Montenegro, in cooperation with the Development Center for Youth, with a special focus on women from rural and marginalized communities in Montenegro and Serbia.
Through training in leadership, strategic communication, and digital activism, participants will be better equipped to navigate political space, counter online threats, and advocate for gender equality in decision-making processes.
As the final step of the program, participants will collaboratively create a Women’s Political Manifesto—a document containing concrete recommendations for increasing women’s participation in politics. This manifesto will be presented to political parties and decision-makers to ensure that the voices of young women are not only heard but also acted upon in policy-making.
The Fund for Progressive Politics, as the project lead, has extensive experience in organizing political education programs, including the Political Academy, Progressive Leadership Course, Democracy and Human Rights of Vulnerable Groups, and many other initiatives aimed at strengthening democratic values and political activism.
The project is supported by the Finnish Kalevi Sorsa Foundation, which provides support for initiatives aimed at democratization and political empowerment.
