Veljko Avramović represents Development Center for Youth at the first international meeting aimed at networking and joint development of project ideas, organized by our long-term partner, the United Societies of Balkans (USB) in Thessaloniki from December 6 to 10.

With the support of the European Commission, USB gathered almost 20 European organizations dealing with various fields within the EU program, all with the aim of establishing and intensifying cooperation, exchanging project ideas and preparing for their joint submission in 2023.

Through dynamic presentations and working in groups, participants have the opportunity to present their plans and find potential partners for further work on the development of ideas, and the meeting should enable experienced youth activists to receive feedback from their colleagues on the ideas they want to pursue, such as and a new perspective of seeing it, and lead to joining forces and building partnerships for the future.

Through dynamic presentations and work in smaller groups, participants have the opportunity to present their plans and find potential partners for further work on development of ideas, and the meeting should enable experienced youth activists to receive feedback from their colleagues on the ideas they want to pursue, such as and a new perspective of seeing them, and lead to joining forces and building partnerships for the future.

“The meeting led to networking and the exchange of ideas, but what is much more important is that it also led to the exchange of experiences and useful information about all available funds and opportunities for obtaining support for the presented ideas. Also, apart from the fact that we plan to continue developing partnership with the host organization, through dynamic discussions, some other interesting opportunities for cooperation have opened up, which we will discuss in more detail at the action planning of Development Center for Youth for 2023”, stated Veljko Avramović from Thessaloniki.

During the meeting, Veljko presented the concept of female Life Champions, i.e. introducing the topic of gender equality in education through/in sports, with a focus on promoting women’s sports and strengthening the position of girls and young women in football, as the most popular sports discipline. Project idea will be prepared for the new ERASMUS+ call in the field of sports, by March 2023.
