Representatives of Development Center for Youth at the KK Viktoris Ceremonial Assembly
Representatives of Development Center for Youth, Aleksandra Knežević, Veljko Avramović and Goran Knežević, attended the solemn ceremony celebrating 15 years of existence and work of the Viktoris SD Karate Club, one of the most important partners of the Association from the sports sector.
Viktoris SD karate club is celebrating an important anniversary this year, 15 years in which children grew up through the club, values were created, and trust was built. On that occasion, on January 29th, the Club’s Ceremonial Assembly was held in the large hall of the Cultural Centre, and after it, the premiere of the film “Making the Champions” was shown.
The film tells the story of the cooperation between two Smederevo karate clubs, about people who believe in sports as education, in working with children, and in values that remain much longer than results.
This evening is dedicated to all those who have been part of the story of KK Victoris during these 15 years – children, parents, coaches, associates and friends of the club, and Development Center for Youth is especially proud of the received plaque for the successful cooperation so far, bearing in mind that two structures share values and principles, but also plan numerous joint activities in the future.
In an evening filled with emotions and positive energy, which was attended by more than 500 citizens of Smederevo, the central impression was a deep respect for everything that Jovana and Nenad Ilić, the initiators of the idea and the engine of its work, did and are doing for children and young people, but also for the entire community, showing that faith and emotions are the ones thanks to which miracles are created.
