PROUDLY ANNOUNCING: Regional camp “Life Champions” for 150 footballer players of younger categories

Regional sports-educational camp “Life Champions” is scheduled for the period from June 24 to 27 on Zlatibor mountain in Serbia. This particular event will gather 150 football players of younger categories of Grafičar Belgrade, Sloga Doboj, Željezničar Sarajevo, Pelister Bitola, Gorica and Maribor and their 30 coaches.

During the gathering, young football players will not only practice, but also learn about various topics of importance, primarily how to grow into life champions, not only sports one, and knowledge on those topics will transfer them coaches, but faculty professors in sports and physical education and experts from youth sector. Also, the camp is completely free of charge, and the organizer, Development Center for Youth, provided a set of equipment for players and coaches. All of this makes this camp unique.

Camp is part of the project “Standing together for a healthy and safe community” supported by the Erasmus + program of the European Union, and media partner is TV Arena Sport. Goal of the camp is to contribute not only in gaining a new knowledge and encouragement of regional cooperation, solidarity and fair play, but as a free of charge activity it is also opportunity for children and youth whose financial circumstances would not allow them to participate in such an event. Sponsors of the camp are Energize, the Municipality of Čajetina, Touristic and Recreational Complex Zlatibor and Vrnjci Water.

Ambassadors of the project are the all-time best scorer of Serbian national football tema Aleksandar Mitrović, the captain of the BIH football national tema and the UNICEF ambassador Edin Džeko, as well as the captain of the national team of North Macedonia Goran Pandev, who referred to young successor:

The deputy captain of North Macedonia Aleksandar Trajkovski, and the first goalkeeper of the Serbian national team Predrag Rajković, also welcomed the young football players.

Project “Standing together for a healthy and safe community” is implemented through the ERASMUS + program of the European Union in the field of sport. Coordinator Development Center for Youth from Belgrade, and the consortium gathers partners from youth, education and sports sectors from Serbia, North Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey.
