The Transnational United Network of Europe (TUNE) project is hosting its final annual gathering in Thessaloniki, from December 3 to 6, bringing together organizations, partners, and young people from across Europe. This December meeting has become a traditional annual event where long-standing and new partners reunite, strengthen their collaboration, and explore new opportunities for future joint initiatives. The focus remains on exchanging experiences, planning upcoming activities, and further expanding cooperation within the European project landscape.

A special highlight of the event will be celebration of the International Volunteer Day on December 5. The day will include a short welcoming address from the hosts, followed by informal networking and introductions among the participating organizations. The evening will continue with a stand-up comedy performance and live music, creating an inspiring atmosphere dedicated to recognizing the invaluable contribution of volunteers across Europe.

“As someone who gained all of my non-formal knowledge through volunteering, I am truly glad to have the opportunity to share my experience with other volunteers. Volunteering shaped my skills, my worldview, and my career path, and I hope that by sharing my journey, I can inspire others to continue contributing to their communities with confidence and passion. I emphasized the personal significance of this day. I added that events like this highlight how powerful volunteer-driven initiatives could be when people from different backgrounds work together toward common goals.“, said Veljko Avramović, one of the participants and associate in Development Center for Youth.

Participants in the project, implemented within the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, come from: Serbia, Greece, France, Italy, Poland, Ireland, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain, Cyprus, Portugal, Turkiye, Romania, and Albania.
