Development Center for Youth participates in the TUNE network 2026 kick-off meeting
Development Center for Youth took part in the online kick-off meeting of the TUNE network held on April 1, 2026, marking the official start of the network’s activities for the year. The meeting gathered member organisations from across Europe and launched the implementation of the 2026 workplan following the approval of the SGA and the securing of EU co-funding.
During the meeting, the network presented its main priorities and activities for 2026, focusing on strengthening youth participation, democratic engagement, and organisational capacity across Europe.
“Participation in the TUNE Network represents an important opportunity for us to work together with partners across Europe to strengthen youth participation, develop new programmes, and create spaces where young people can actively contribute to democratic processes and the development of their communities.” – said Veljko Avramović, program assistant and vice president of the TUNE network.
Planned activities include online training for youth workers and project managers, as well as an international training for young people that will lead to the establishment of a Youth Committee and thematic working groups. These structures will support youth involvement in campaigns, consultations, and the strategic development of the network.
In addition to international activities, member organisations will organise local trainings and youth-led initiatives throughout the year, creating opportunities for young people to engage more actively in their communities and decision-making processes.
