Bogdan Trikoš was born in Raška on June 27, 1997. In the same town, he attended elementary and high school (science and mathematics major), and in 2016 he entered the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, University of Belgrade.

He defended his final thesis entitled “Technical-tactical characteristics of karate fighters in the heavyweight category at the Premier Leagues and the European Championship in 2019” on September 9, 2020, thus completing his basic academic studies. Immediately after that, he enrolls in master academic studies also at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, and on September 29, 2021, he defends his master’s thesis entitled “Motor skills, self-confidence and anxiety of cadet-age karate fighters” and thus completes his master’s academic studies. He enrolled in doctoral academic studies at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, immediately after his master’s degree and after passing all the exams and the defended project, he is currently working on writing his doctoral dissertation.

He has been practicing karate since 2003, in which he currently holds the title of master black belt 2nd DAY. As a representative of Serbia in karate, he participated in national and international championships in the fighting discipline, category + 84 kg. Some of the notable results he achieved in karate are: 2-time champion of Serbia in the junior senior category (U21), 3-time senior champion of Serbia, champion of the Serbian Cup in the senior category, 7th place at the World Championship in the category of junior seniors (U21) held in Tenerife, 3rd place in the team at the European Championship for seniors in 2016 in Montpellier, 2nd place in the team at the European Championship for seniors held in 2019 in Guadalajara and 2nd team place at the World Championship for seniors held in 2021 in Dubai. He was nominated twice for the best athlete in the municipality of Raška and once for the best athlete at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education. Bogdan is still an active competitor and coach in the Raska Karate Club.

In addition to formal education and sports results, Bogdan found himself as a youth activist for the first time in cooperation with Development Center for Youth in 2014 as a 17-year-old at the “No Hate Speech” project and at the “Tolerance and Friendship Camp”. After that, he continued his cooperation with Development Center for Youth on the project “Creating Life Champions”.

He is fluent in English.
