12 proposals for a better life quality of Raška citizens: “Sustainable Associations for a Strong Community” invite you to “Project Ideas Fair”

After nine months of preparatory work on initiatives that respond to the needs of Raška citizens, the project “Sustainable Associations for a Strong Community” will present proposals for improving life in the local community at the “Project Ideas Fair” on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 10 am at the Town Square in Raška.

– After nine months of learning and intensive work on project ideas that reflect the priorities of the community, local associations have formed proposals that we will jointly present at the “Project Ideas Fair”. Join us and discuss these suggestions. Join us, let us jointly influence the creation of new sports, educational and cultural contents of the municipality of Raška – said the project coordinator Aleksandra Knežević.

Project has began with trainings during which 24 members from 12 associations learned how to run an association successfully, adopted new knowledge on writing and implementing projects, as well as how to promote their organizations and the activities they implement.
After info-sessions for the knowledge transfer to other members of the associations they were coming from, based on peer education, as well as the preparation of project proposals with mentoring support of the educational team, they are ready to present 12 final project proposals, created according to local priorities.

All those interested, will be able to learn and hear the details of these proposals for richer community life at the “Project Ideas Fair” and at the same time influence their development by exchanging ideas.

Project “Sustainable Associations for a Strong Community” is implemented by Development Center for Youth in partnership with the Children’s Association of the Municipality of Raška. Initiative is part of a broader project “Accountable Public Finance Management Platform” implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and funded by the Government of Sweden.
